City of Mount Gambier Draft Regional Public Health Plan 2015-2020
The Draft City of Mount Gambier Regional Public Health Plan 2015-2020 has been developed in accordance with the South Australian Public Health Act 2011. This is the first plan developed under the legislation which identifies that Council is the relevant local public health authority for its area. Public consultation is being held on the draft plan from Tuesday 26th May – Friday, 19th June 2015 (inclusive).
This plan assesses Councils current actions towards public health and highlights eleven priority areas for our community, which Council will endeavour to target over the five year duration of the plan.
During the implementation of the Regional Public Health Plan Council will aim to work in partnerships with local and State businesses and organisations to ensure effective action is taken to preserve, protect and promote public health within its area. Council would like to identify these groups, businesses and organisations who have an interest in one (or more) priority areas by them completing the Potential Partnerships Survey.
