Workshop 1- Get Growing: Introduction to fruit and vegetable gardening and seed swap

The City of Mount Gambier in partnership with Permaculture Mount Gambier will present an introductory session on how to "Get Growing," followed by a seed swap and interactive planting demonstration. This event will be held in conjunction with the Mount Gambier Farmers Market.

This workshop will involve giving the community the basic knowledge required to start growing their own food. Considerations of when and how to start growing will put beginners on the right path to successfully growing their own food. Additionally, there will be a seed swap and hands on activity where participants will be able to start planting their own seeds to take home.
