Consultation has concluded
The City of Mount Gambier, in accordance with Section 202 of the Local Government Act 1999, is proposing to further lease Community Land – Old Gaol.
The proposed lease is for accommodation purposes on commercial terms for a period of 5 years with two further rights of renewal of 5 years, commencing at the end of the current 5 year renewal period.
The proposed lease is to be granted to the existing operators James and Melissa Stephenson with current and renewal interests until 30 September 2040.
The lease area comprises portions of land in Certificates of Title Volume 5283 Folio 896, Volume 5283 Folio 897 and Volume 5809 Folio 435 where the Old Gaol is located at 25 Margaret Street and 4-6 Langlois Place, Mount Gambier.
The public is invited to provide comment on the proposed lease.
